Autumn days are here again!

Once again it’s that time of the year when everything changes its color, the cold breeze and rain chills the sleepy hills and the days are getting shorter whilst the nights are longer and longer. Autumn is creeping in slowly.

Autumn days fall by just as fast as the colored leaves fall from the old trees. I love autumn, I always did. I love the cozy weather, that moment of the day when you wake up in the morning and open the window or go outside for a breath of fresh air and the crisp air boosts your mood instantly filling you with energy that will get you through the whole day. Autumn also means cozy sweaters and hot drinks. What I love doing during this kind of days is make myself a cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate and go in the front yard, sit on a chair and just relax. It’s little moments that make us happy and life big! Another thing that autumn days are worth loving for are the long and chilly walks when the sun is barely shining and the trees look like they’re on fire, when everything is covered in crunchy leaves, red, yellow and orange ones, in various different shades, that make that lovely noise when you step on them, the music that belongs to autumn.  The season of fall comes with rainy days that are perfect for getting cozy in bed, lighting up a candle that will bring the scent of autumn in the house and watching a nice movie whilst enjoying a hot drink. And when the rain stops and the sky clears up a little bit there’s the magic hour when the sun paints everything in gold and pink.

Autumn is finally here, bringing  so much joy and peace, but at the same time nostalgia and sadness too, somehow reminding us that sometimes it’s okay and necessary to let go and assuring us that everything that dies, will one day bloom and take our breath away! Have a lovely autumn!

  2. Beautiful shots and writing. You captured it perfectly! The crisp air in the morning has always been my favorite, even though this time right before it’s cooler out in the afternoon is weird because the morning is chilly and the afternoon is hot.

  5. Autumn means fall foods like apple stuff and taking the kids to visit the pumpkin patch. And it’s nice its cooling down and not so hot.

  10. Autumn is my favorite season and I am so excited it is finally here. Where I live we are still experiencing 90 degree weather, so I cannot wait for the temperature to drop so I can drag out my favorite fall clothes and experience all that this wonderful season has to offer!
