Reminiscing about Milan

If I’m frank, I have no clue what to post about today. However, I found myself looking through photos and I’ve scrolled all the way back to July, when we went to Italy for a couple of days (as a part of my treasured birthday gift), and I thought it would be a good idea to share some with you. You might remember my other post about visiting the set of Call Me by Your Name, in Crema, but, amongst others, we also spent a day in Milan, which was clearly not enough. Without further ado, here are a couple of photos I took trying to capture the magic of this hectic yet stunning city. You’ll find pictures of the utterly popular Duomo di Milano, the most renowned Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and of the lovely Italian streets and architecture.

P.S. If you want to visit Milan, or Italy in general, July/August isn’t the best time if you don’t like being cooked alive. It was literally so hot (precisely 41° Celsius) my brain was boiling, but other than that it was a wonderful experience. And don’t get me started on pizza, pasta and focaccia.
